In gate monitors, there are 2 different types. One is that with plastic (organic) and another with crystal (non-organic) scintillators.
Price of former one is incredibly cheap in comparison with latter one.
We have introduced latter one who stands the energy peak 16 years ago and installed today more than 75 sets in Japan.
